Sample Configuration for Xircom CardBus XIR-CBE-10/100BTX Ethernet Card

1. Enable the CardBus function by following the CardBus setup procedure.
2. You must use automatic setting on both TI-1130 PCMCIA controller.
   • 1st TI-1130 (Use automatic setting)
     • IRQ : 11
     • Memory range : 000D1000-000D0FFF
       (Sample, not necessary be the exact same value)
   • 2nd TI-1130 (Use automatic setting)
     • IRQ : 10
     • Memory range : 000D2000-000D2FFF
       (Sample, not necessary be the exact same value)
3. You must also use automatic setting on audio ESS1788.
   • IRQ : 5
   • DMA : 00
4. Under XIRCOM cardbus ethernet 10/100 resource setting, you should see the following :
   (Use automatic setting)
   • IRQ : 11 (or 10)
   • Memory Range : 01040000-0104007F
     (Sample, not necessary be the exact same value)
   • Input/Output : 0400-047F
   • Memory Range : 01000000-0103FFFF
     (Sample, not necessary be the exact same value)
     
     Conflicts device list:
     • Memory range 01040000-0104007F used by TI PCI-1130 Cardbus controller
     • Input/Output Range : 0400-047F used by TI PCI-1130 Cardbus controller
     • Memory range 01000000-0103FFFF used by TI PCI-1130 Cardbus controller

Please follow the above procedure and ignore the conflicting information, you should have your XIRCOM cardbus work and be able to connect to the network.

Note: Each time you plug in the card, it takes around 10-15 seconds before the card is configured properly and able to work.
