After you have installed Service Pack 3 or above, you will be able to set the resolution to 1024 x 768 x 16.8M colors for LCD, or higher resolutions for external CRT.

Can I display the DVD movie playback on an external TV through the S-Video Port?

The S-video port on the ChemBook™ 7400 is for displaying standard Windows desktop on the external TV only. It does not work for DVD movie playback. The TV Out port will be disabled automatically when the ALI DVD player program is started.

Why can't I use an External PS/2 mouse after I install the Touchpad driver?

The Alps touchpad driver which is included on the Utility Driver CD is designed specifically for Alps touchpad. If you need to use an External PS/2 mouse, you will need to change the mouse type to Standard PS/2 mouse.

Can I use both Infrared Ports simultaneously?

How do I determine whether the system suspends to disk or memory?

The suspend mode activated when you choose the Suspend function in Windows 95/98/NT4 is dependent on the setting used in the Power menu in BIOS Setup Configuration Utility.

Can I use a PCMCIA Ethernet card after resuming from Suspend-to-Disk mode?

The PCMCIA Ethernet card will be disabled after resuming from Suspend-to-disk. Therefore it is recommended that you place the system in suspend-to-RAM mode only, or to shut down the system completely when it is not in use.
